How PDF to JPEG handles data

PDF to JPEG converts PDF pages to images, images to PDF, and extracts embedded images.

Data and storage

Selected files, passwords, page ranges, filenames, page counts and results stay in workspace memory. EXIF orientation positions photos; EXIF, XMP and IPTC metadata are omitted from outputs.

Chrome storage keeps pdfImagePrefs for format, DPI, page size, margins and guide status; pdfImageRatePrompt for prompt timestamps, dismissal and rating choice; it also keeps an install-count ID.

Feedback and ratings

1-3 stars open the feedback page; the goodbye survey opens on removal. Optional comments, version and interface language reach the publisher; Telegram gets comments; blanks become counts. 4-5 stars open Chrome Web Store reviews when configured.

Analytics

The welcome page opens once after first installation and sends its install count through this site, which derives the country from the connection and stores nothing; goodbye and rating pages count removals by country.

Retention and deletion

Inputs, passwords, row details and results remain until Clear, reload or close; settings remain until changed or uninstall. Install-count ID remains until uninstall. Downloads need separate deletion; uninstall does not retract submissions or external service records.

Your rights

Data is not sold or transferred for unrelated purposes. Rights include access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawing consent and complaints to a supervisory authority, without discrimination. Where GDPR applies, processing relies on consent and the requested feature.

Intended for users 13 and older.

Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
